Dún Aonghasa is located 4.5 miles (7 kilometers) from the Kilronan Inishmore harbor. Private tourist buses transport visitors from the harbor to the site's visitor center, or you can rent a bicycle from the harbor and cycle there, which takes around 25 minutes. From the visitor center, there is a short but uneven walk to the site.
